FileMaker announced the release of FileMaker Pro 12  and FileMaker Server 12 on April 4. This new version involves a significant file format change from FileMaker 11 in order to implement the numerous improvements that it offers.

We are in the process of testing TheraQuick with FileMaker 12 and TheraQuick will require some minor changes to the interface to fix some differences in the way FileMaker 12 displays the layouts. 

We therefore recommend NOT converting your TheraQuick file to FileMaker Pro 12 yet if you are using your own license for FileMaker Pro. You can install FileMaker Pro 12 and FileMaker Pro 11 simultaneously if you wish, and continue using TheraQuick in FileMaker Pro 11 until we provide the update.

Due to the change in file format, conversion of a file from the FileMaker 11 to FileMaker 12 format is one-way. This means that once a file is converted to the new FileMaker 12 format, it cannot be opened in FileMaker 11.

In addition, if you are using FileMaker Server, a FileMaker 12 format file will require FileMaker Server 12 to host it.
